Talking story, ink, and strategy with Peter & Sons’ Head of Marketing, Sonya Sverdlova
At Peter & Sons, we’ve never been too fond of the ordinary. So when Casino Online sat down with our Head of Marketing, Sonya Sverdlova, the conversation was never going to be boring. Instead, it turned into a story about rebellion, artistry, and how a studio that began with six dreamers and a sketchbook grew into one of the most distinctive voices in iGaming.
For Sonya, marketing communications are all about storytelling. “We build campaigns from everything: the difference between backgrounds, a small detail an artist shares in the team chat, or a single symbol that’s beautifully drawn. We turn those elements into emotions,” she said. “Our goal is not to “sell” a game but to invite players into an experience — to make them feel part of that universe.”
That philosophy explains a lot about our core values. Every game is a miniature universe, hand-painted, handcrafted, and layered with personality and lots of hidden gems. Every campaign is a wink, and a story waiting to be discovered.
And when it comes to making noise, Sonya’s playbook is anything but conventional. At this year’s SBC Lisbon, our booth offered actual tattoos inspired by game art. Thousands of visitors, a non-stop line, and dozens of freshly inked industry pros later, Peter & Sons proved that creativity hits differently when you wear it on your skin.
Behind the color and chaos is a small, tight-knit team that still works like a garage band: dreamers, doers, artists, and engineers coming from different parts of the world but united in goal : building something that feels deeply personal. Peter & Sons might be growing fast, but we’ll always stay proudly indie at heart, unpolished in the best way, driven by curiosity, playfulness and always ready to surprise our players.
Stay tuned. November’s bringing new stories, new art, and knowing Sonya, probably another stunt that will get the whole industry talking. Catch the full interview here – https://casino.online/blog/interview-sonya-sverdlova-peter-and-sons/
